The Rajah II displays characteristics of the Kukri such as the downward bend of the blade and the heft of it. When compacted the blade folds into the handle neatly and overall weight is only 13.4oz making it ideal to carry with you.
The Rajah II uses and internal locking mechanism known as a Tri-Ad lock. This lock shows true strength being able to withstand up to 300 pounds without folding.
The blade is very stable during jobs due to this but is also reinforced by it's thickness of 4.8mm. Constructed from 8A Stainless steel, the Rajah offers unmatched power being able to slice though tough materials such as timber bamboo with ease. 8A Stainless is a particularly nice steel since it's very easy to resharpen to a high standard. With a huge 6" blade the Rajah offers amazing reach and cutting power.
The handle of the Rajah made from Long Grivory measures in at 8" long. Not only does it provide excellent grip but it gives you the flexibility to hold it from 3 different places.
You have have a grip close to the cutting edge for that precision cutting work you need doing, a mid range grip for normal jobs or a long range to get all the weight and power behind your knife. This is all made possible by the finger grooves found along the bottom of your handle.
Overall a very powerful but easy to transport and reliable knife. This is definitely the knife you'd want in any survival situation.
