The Guide Gun from Ruger features the LC6 trigger system which offers crisp and smooth performance straight from the factory which ensures your accuracy is not compromised from the first shot. This trigger is coupled with a three position safety which is accessed easily from the trigger position, and can lock the bolt, or load and unload with the safety activated.
The extractor is a non rotating Mauser type round feed unit which is one of the best case extraction systems currently around. The fixed blade type ejector ejects the empty case positively each time the bolt is pulled fully backwards, ensuring a smooth and easy reload each time.
The barrel is made from cold hammer forged stainless steel for the best in accuracy, and consistency, as well as ease of barrel cleaning, and long life. Mounted atop this barrel is express style, windage adjustable sights, with a large white bead to the front for easy and fast target acquisition.
The breach also has integral scope mounting positions machined directly into the steel, to ensure a stable and secure mount for scope rings, which are included with the rifle.
The stock is a Gree Mountain laminate which is very hard wearing and comfortable, and also comes with butt pad spaces to ensure that the soft rubber recoil pad can be mounted at exactly the right length for the shooter.
Also Includes: rugged one-piece, stainless steel bolt; swivel studs with both a barrel-band mounted stud and an optional fore-end stud supplied for mounting sling swivels.
